PROJECT DETAILS:

Community of Christ Church needed more space for worship services and for other activities in the building. Heritage Construction’s building experience, knowledge and process was the main factor in securing the project to construct and build the addition.

Heritage constructed the high peak of the sanctuary to include a large structural focal point of glu-lam wood beams. A large array of window variations with different textures and non-glare characteristics were included for a warm, light filled room. A heated, full-body submersion baptismal pool was implemented in the sanctuary, as well as acoustical panels on the walls to create good sound transfer.

A new narthex area was constructed to connect the old sanctuary area, now a multi-purpose room, and the new sanctuary. The entire area was created for easy flow of people, conversation and the feeling of being welcome. In addition, a new kitchen area was developed to serve church functions with plenty of space to accommodate all activities.

The congregation of Community of Christ Church is ecstatic about the new addition and remodeling project and recommends Heritage Construction for any building project.
